'Thousand Eyes'

'Thousand Eyes' is Mirabai's debut solo album, featuring viola, strings and voice. 

Mirabai Peart (she/her) is a versatile violinist, violist, singer and teacher. She has performed on many continents, at major festivals and venues ranging from house concerts to iconic venues like Carnegie Hall and the Sydney Opera House.
She has toured with Joanna Newsom, Ryan Francesconi and Alela Diane among others, and her playing features on numerous records including Margot Cilker's 'Pohorylle' and Offa Rex 'Queen of the Hearts' as well as her duo album with Ryan Francesconi, 'Road to Palios'.
Mirabai's playing draws upon her classical training and diverse and numerous folk traditions. Influences include jazz, free-improvisation, American, Celtic, Scandinavian, Balkan and Middle Eastern folk music.
